Eastern Oregon University (EOU) and Legacy Ford of La Grande are proud to announce their ongoing partnership through the “Bridging Horizons: EOU’s Community Partnerships Spotlight” series. This initiative celebrates the connections between EOU, Oregon’s Official Rural University, and the businesses and organizations that are the backbone of eastern Oregon.
The Oregon Tribal Student Grant provides funding for eligible Oregon tribal students to offset the cost of attendance at eligible Oregon colleges and universities. Current, new and continuing students are encouraged to apply for this grant for the 2023-24 academic year. The grant is intended to cover the average cost of attendance after all federal and state grants/scholarships have been applied.
Our Economics degree is a 61 to 64-credit major in the College of Business that can either be taken on-campus or completely online. Not only does our program prepare you to pursue careers as an economist with businesses or government agencies, but also provides a strong foundation for those seeking graduate studies in Economics.
Dr. Peter Maille has been a Peace Corps Volunteer, worked for a non-profit, worked for the Federal Government, ran a small business, and earned three more degrees including a Ph.D. in economics. He found that he is committed to doing his very best to teach our students about household and firm behavior, and his specializations are in environmental economics and development economics.
